Race Weekend: 6-7 Aug 2011
Entry Deadline: 28 May 2011
Late Entries: Considered case-by-case, space permitting
Track: Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows CA; 3.0-mile road course. We'll be adding a few directional cones here and there: Check out a hooptie-looking rough track map here.

All-Access Paddock Passes allow you to get closer to these dilapidated machines than is probably recommended.

Single-day passes are $20; Full-weekend passes are $30.

Online sales will stop at midnight on the Wednesday before the race--tickets are always available for sale at the gate on race weekend.

SCHEDULE

Pre-Race Track Testing: Thunderhill will be holding a Friday test day for LeMons cars. They're charging $225 for one car and driver, plus $50 for each additional driver. Contact Colleen Worthington at the track (530-934-5588 x100 or colleen@thunderhill.com) for more info or to pre-register.

9am-4pm Pre-race track testing (details above)
10am-5pm: Mandatory Friday Tech Inspection. Every car and at least one driver per team must be present for Tech Inspection on Friday. No Saturday Tech will be offered!

5pm-6:30pm: Hooked on Driving track instruction. Basic driver info and Thunderhill track secrets. Great for both beginners and returning racers. for more info, click here.

Lights: Headlights and taillights recommended but not mandatory; brake lights mandatory

Pit Assignments: First-come,first-frozen
Barbecues Allowed: Yes
Running Water: Yes
Bathrooms: Relatively swanky

Showers: Yes

Electrical Hookups: All the hell over the place
Pit Hours: Keep it to a low roar after racing hours; no engines after 9pm
Fuel Sold On-Site: Yes. Credit card-activated pumps on site. Thunderhill charges a drop fee for outside fuel containers measuring 55 gallons or larger.


FUEL RULES: MINIMUM 2-HOUR PENALTY FOR ANY INFRACTION
Where: In paddock space only, details TBA during Driver's Meeting (don't bug us before then)

Who: Two people minimum with one holding extinguisher while fueling from jugs

Gear: All people in fuel area must wear the same safety gear as a driver when fueling from jugs

Car: Engine and kill switch must be off during fueling

Driver changes: No one allowed in the car during fueling; driver swaps OK when fueling complete

Other notes: Absolutely no other work allowed during fueling (tire checks, fluid checks, etc). You may fuel at the gas pumps without Nomex.
