Spectators: $20/day or $30/weekend all-access pit passes, available at gate


SCHEDULE

Pre-race track testing: Entry form at www.turnonetrackevents.com or at www.carolinamotorsportspark.com under the Turn One Track Day heading). Cost is $190 if registered two weeks prior to event, $225 after. LeMons run groups will use the LeMons course. Noon-5pm: Mandatory Tech Inspection Every car and at least one driver per team must be present for Tech Inspection on Friday. No Saturday Tech will be offered!

CMP's Intro to Racing Class: CMP's own Palmetto Motorsports Club/Turn One Track Events is holding an Intro to Racing class for all interested novice or less-experienced LeMons entrants. The1.5 hour class is designed to help newcomers understand the basics and get up to speed for the race. The curriculum includes: Rules, Safety, Flags, Seating Position, Racing Line (Turn In, Apex, Track Out), Vehicle Dynamics, and Passing. The cost is $30 per driver. Class starts at 5:30pm on Friday in the Palmetto Motorsports Clubhouse (that's the building right next to CMP's front gate). Space is limited, so sign up early: To register, contact Sylvia at  sylvia@carolinamotorsportspark.com or call 803-475-5006.

Noise Limit: 92dB @ 50 feet

Overnight Camping: Yes
Vehicle Restrictions: None. Plenty of grass parking
Pit Assignments: Pick a spot and plunk down, already
Barbecues Allowed: Yes, but well contained and monitored grilles only, propane fuel preferred. (Some areas of the facility have high fire danger in dry weather.)
Running Water: Yes

Bathrooms: Multiple permanent assorted Porta-Stankys

Showers: Yes
Electrical Hookups: Yes
Pit Hours: Just be polite to the neighbors
Fuel Sold On-Site: Yes, 100 octane minimum (there is also a public gas station just outside the track entrance)
Dead Cars: Complete, rolling corpses can be left behind Sunday
