7:30am: Gates open

Infineon's Friday Test Day (see details below)

noon-5pm: Mandatory Friday Tech Inspection (Every car and at least one driver per team MUST be present for Tech Inspection on Friday--no Saturday Tech will be offered!)


Jim Nix from Old Farts Racing is running two LeMons-endorsed driver education courses at the track's Driver's Lounge (on the main paddock) Friday evening. The courses are non-mandatory, but are highly recommended!


5:30 PM--Racing 101, class will include basic instruction, flag definition, passing, being passed, basic car control, track etiquette, and then turn by turn track description plus passing zones.  How to reduce or eliminate black flags will also be discussed.  This class is geared toward new or novice drivers.  This class will include a track map.  Length 1.5 hours and cost $20.00.

7:30 PM--Racing 201 will provide more advanced turn by turn track description, passing zones and techniques but without flags definition, basic car control, etc.  This class is geared toward experienced drivers that have little or no time at Sears. This class will include a track map.  Length 1 hour and cost $20.00.

Infineon's Friday Test Day: Infineon Raceway will be hosting a Test Day with sessions for LeMons cars. The sessions will be 45 minutes to one hour each, slotted into the track's regular open testing schedule. Cost: 1 Session=$95, 2 sessions=$180, 3 sessions=$255, 4 sessions=$280, 5 sessions=$325. You can also sign up Friday morning on-site, beginning at 7am at the Guest Services building (on the left-hand side as you enter the main gate).


THE CARS 

Lights: Headlights, taillights, and sidemarkers removed or completely taped over

Side and Rear Glass: No restrictions

Noise Limit: 92dB @ 50 feet


PITS & PADDOCK 

Overnight Camping: Yes.

Pit-Vehicle Restrictions: No, as long as it's in the paddock. That said, the ring road surrounding the track is off limits to pit-bikes, ATV's and golf carts. 

Pit Assignments: First-come, first-crowded-in-like-sardines

Barbecues Allowed: Gas grills only - no charcoal.

Running Water: Bring your own radiator water - filling up in the bathroom sink is a no-no.

Bathrooms: Permanent and clean. Showers available also at the Media Center and next to the Drivers Lounge.

Electrical Hookups: No. By definition, RV's are self contained right?

Pit Hours: Noise Curfew hours before 8am and after 7pm - That means no engines or amplified noise during that time.

Fuel Sold On-Site: Yes, there's a Sunoco station with pumps. Lowest grade available is 91 octane. Probably more expensive than Arco, but way more convenient.

Fueling Rules: You may pump fuel at the Sunoco pumps directly into your car, or you can fuel from jugs in your pit space in the paddock. The driver must be out of the car, and the fueler and a the person manning a fire bottle must be in full nomex drivers gear.

Closest Airports: SFO-San Francisco International Airport, OAK- Oakland International Airport 

Weather: Could be mild and sunny, could be raining with hail. Take your pick.

DIRECTIONS

From Highway 101, Merge onto Highway 37 east toward Vallejo. Travel 8 miles until you reach the intersection of Highways 37 and 121. Make a left onto Highway 121 toward Sonoma, Gate 1 is one-half mile ahead on your left.


From I-80, Exit onto Highway 37 west toward San Rafael. Travel 15 miles until you reach the intersection of Highways 37 and 121. Merge onto Highway 121 toward Sonoma, Gate 1 is one-half mile ahead on your left.
