Noon-5pm: Mandatory Tech Inspection (All cars MUST be inspected on Friday)
5:30-7pm: CMP's Intro to Racing Class (see details below)

Pre-Race Track Testing: Entry form at www.turnonetrackevents.com or www.carolinamotorsportspark.com (under Turn One Track Day heading). Cost is $190 if registered two weeks prior to event, $225 after. They'll be running the LeMons course for LeMons cars. CMP's Intro to Racing Class: CMP's own Palmetto Motorsports Club/Turn One Track Events is holding an Intro to Racing class for all interested novice or less-experienced LeMons entrants. The 1-½ hour class is designed to help newcomers understand the basics and get up to speed for the race. The curriculum includes: Rules, Safety, Flags, Seating Position, Racing Line (Turn In, Apex, Track Out), Vehicle Dynamics, and Passing. The cost is $30 per driver. Class starts at 5:30pm on Friday, 3 April, in the Palmetto Motorsports Clubhouse (that's the building right next to CMP's front gate). THE CARS
Lights: Headlights, taillights, and sidemarkers removed or fully taped
Side and Rear Glass: Keep it or toss it, your choice
Noise Limit: 92dB @ 50 feet
PITS & PADDOCK
Overnight Camping: OK, $50 per occupied RV (covers the whole weekend)
Vehicle Restrictions: None--plenty of grass parking
Pit Assignments: Pick a spot and plunk down, already
Barbecues Allowed: Yes, but well contained and monitored grilles only, propane fuel preferred. (Some areas of the facility have high fire danger in dry weather.)
Running Water: Yes. Showers, even
Bathrooms: Multiple permanent + assorted Porta-Stankys
Electrical Hookups: Yes
Pit Hours: Just be polite to the neighbors
Fuel Sold On-Site: 100-octane minimum
Dead Cars: Complete, rolling corpses can be left behind Sunday
