PRE-RACE EVENT:
The Last-Thrash Bash, Sunday 4 May '08 at LeMons Headquarters (5675 Horton Street, Suite C, Emeryville CA 94608), from 10-5. BYOB, BYO lawn chairs, BYO crappy car, BYO B.O., etc. Teams are invited to come wrench on their heaps at the Bash and get free advice from our welding, tech, and fab experts on-site. (Free advice that's worth more or less what they paid for it.) Two arguably lucky winners--for "Least Likely to Be Ready by Race Day" and "Most Improved Since Breakfast"--will end the day with a ten-lap bonus, redeemable if and when their ill-prepared pile ever reaches the grid.

Track: Altamont Motorsports Park, Tracy CA; combination road course/bullring, 1.0 mile
Spectator Access: Tickets sold at the gate. Grandstand-only for $5; All-Access Pit Passes for $30/weekend or $20/day. (See directions at the bottom of this page.)

Early Check-In and Setup: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
(Due to Alameda County restrictions, Friday track testing is no longer allowed)
SATURDAY, 10 MAY
AMP Gates Open: 8:00 am
Normal Check-In & Setup: 8:00-10:00 am (NO CHECK-INS PAST 10:00 am!)
Driver's Meeting (MANDATORY): 10:45 am
Drivers in Cars: 11:15 am
Race Start: 11:30 am
End of Session I: 6:30 pm

Vehicle Restrictions: Transporter, race vehicle, and one civilian vehicle per entry; everything else needs to park outside the paddock or on top of the paddock's back hill

Barbecues Allowed: Nay
Running Water: To put out the illegal barbecues? No
Bathrooms: Yeah, but I wouldn't necessarily linger
Electrical Hookups: Negatory on that
Pit Hours: Vehicles and pit setups can stay all night; humans need to be off-site by sundown

DIRECTIONS
AMP is located in the Altamont Hills between Tracy and Livermore, California.
From Tracy and the San Joaquin Valley:
-Take I-580 West or I-205 West to the Mountain House Parkway exit (formerly Patterson Pass Road exit).
-Go south/west on Patterson Pass Road (toward the hills) until reaching Midway Road.
-Turn right on Midway Road and proceed to AMP.
From Livermore and the Bay Area:
-Take I-580 East to the Grant Line Road exit (east of the Altamont Pass). At the bottom of the offramp, turn left.
-Follow Grant Line Road about half a mile to Midway Road.
-Turn right on Midway Road. Continue about 3/4 mile to AMP.
