PLEASE NOTE: While we have traditionally frozen our arses at Thunderhill in NorCal, in 2010 we will freeze our arses at Buttonwillow in SoCal.

SCHEDULE

Pre-race track testing: Buttonwillow will conduct an open test day on Friday with specific LeMons groups interspersed. Check with Buttonwillow's front office at 661.764.5333 for times, details, and prices.

Friday 3 December 2010
7:30am: Gates open
Morning & Afternoon: Buttonwillow-Organized Track Testing (details above)
Noon-5pm: Mandatory Friday Tech Inspection. Every car and at least one driver per team must be present for Tech Inspection on Friday. No Saturday Tech will be offered!

9am: Lil'Mons PowerWheels Race*

*Lil'Mons PowerWheels Race: Bring your GI Joe Hummer, Barbie Corvette, Mini Grave Digger, or other electric kids' rides and battle the students of Sage Hill School for all the kid-car glory--which is to say, probably more fame than you'll earn in your big car. Full specs and details to come. 


THE CARS
Lights: Headlights, taillights, and sidemarkers removed or fully taped
Rear side and back glass: No restrictions
Noise Limit: 92dB @ 50 feet
 
PITS AND PADDOCK
Overnight Camping: Yes, $50 for the weekend payable with your LeMons registration. In addition to that, there are 48 RV hookups spaces also - which can be reserved with the track. See the Buttonwillow website for pricing and payment, and yes that's on top of the LeMons fee.
Vehicle Restrictions: Don't bean idiot with pit vehicles
Pit Assignments: First come,first served.
Barbecues Allowed: Yes, but only after race hours
Running Water: Yes
Bathrooms: Three permanent

Showers: Yes
Electrical Hookups: Some
Pit Hours: Just be polite to the neighbors
Fuel Sold On-Site: Yes. The onsite fuel station will be open all weekend. It's self serve, credit card activated, and spits out Sunoco 91 and 100 unleaded plus 110 leaded
Tire Shop: There's a full service onsite tire shop that sells racing tires. You just might be in luck if you need someone to mount those Radial T/As.

Race Supplies/Buttonwillow Swag: Buttonwillow's on-site gift/race shop has some competition supplies and assorted track-branded swag.
Dead Cars: Be prepared to bring them home
